Your funds stay in your own sub-accounts, so a request tells the desk in advance: it gives us time to close positions in an orderly way before you withdraw, or to scale up the strategy before you deposit. The desk reviews each request before any funds move.
Please don’t move funds or trade in a strategy’s sub-accounts yourself. You hold full custody, so it’s possible, but deposits, withdrawals or trades outside the strategy can seriously affect your returns and disrupt the strategy. To add or withdraw capital, send a request.
Send a request from the strategy’s Manage position panel or from the Capital panel on Portfolio. Both reach the desk the same way.

From Manage position

1

Choose Deposit or Withdraw

In Manage accounts, choose ⋮ → Deposit or Withdraw on the account. Its strategy page opens on the Manage position panel. You can also open the strategy from the Strategies page.
2

Enter the amount and date

Enter the Amount and the Intended date. A withdrawal needs the strategy’s notice period, usually 7 days, so the desk can close positions at minimal execution cost.
3

Send the request

Choose Request deposit or Request withdrawal. Your request then appears under Open requests, where you can cancel it until the desk responds. To change a request, cancel it and send a new one.

From Portfolio

1

Select the account

At the top of Portfolio, select the strategy account. Its Capital panel lists the account’s requests and their status.
2

Enter the amount and date

Choose Deposit or Withdraw at the bottom of the panel. Enter the Amount and the Intended date, and add a Note for our team if there’s anything we should know, such as timing constraints. The same notice period applies to withdrawals.
3

Submit the request

Choose Submit request. The request shows as Pending until the desk responds, and until then you can cancel it with the × on its row. Once the desk decides, any message from it is under the View message icon on the row.
To withdraw everything, see Close an account.
