# Withdraw and claim

> Request a withdrawal, wait for the cycle to complete, then claim your USDC.

You can request a withdrawal only between lending cycles. It settles when the next cycle ends and the capital lent out in it is repaid. You then claim your USDC.

**1. Request a withdrawal**

1. On the vault's page, choose **Base** at the top of the panel, then the **Redeem** tab.
2. Under **You redeem**, enter a number of shares (not USDC), or choose **Max**.
3. Choose **Review withdrawal** to see the USDC you'll receive. If you already have a withdrawal queued, the review shows it too, and both are paid out together.
4. Choose **Confirm in wallet**, then sign **Request withdrawal** in your wallet.

When it confirms, the panel shows **Withdrawal requested**. Your shares are burned and the USDC is queued for you.

**2. Wait for the cycle**

The panel shows **Withdrawing X USDC** until the next lending cycle completes, and the queued amount keeps earning meanwhile. For a calendar reminder, choose **Remind me** under **Your position**.

**3. Claim**

When the panel shows **X USDC ready to claim**, choose **Review claim**, then **Confirm in wallet**, and sign **Claim USDC**.
