# Before you deposit

> What you need before your first deposit, and where to find the vault.

You'll need:

* [ ] **Desktop Chrome, Brave or Edge**, for the one-time verification. It doesn't work on phones or tablets.
* [ ] **A standard Ethereum wallet**, not a smart-contract wallet such as a Safe.
* [ ] **USDC on Ethereum mainnet** for the deposit.
* [ ] **A verified account at a supported exchange**, for the Keyring verification.

## Find the vault

Open **Strategies** and, in the **DeFi** section, choose **Deposit** on the vault you want. The vault page opens with the **Manage position** panel on the right.
