# Troubleshooting: the terminal

> What each terminal message means, and what to do.

Most messages on the terminal say what to do next; these need more explanation. If yours isn't here, we're happy to help at [support@blockhouse.capital](mailto:support@blockhouse.capital).

## Availability

> **“Not available in your region” on the order ticket**
>
> Trading on Hyperliquid isn't offered where you are. You can still browse markets and charts, but the order ticket and deposits are disabled. If you think we've got your location wrong, please [contact us](https://docs.blockhouse.app/reference/get-help.md).

> **A page saying “Blockhouse is not available in your region”**
>
> Access to the whole site is restricted from your location, not just trading. If you think this is an error, email [support@blockhouse.capital](mailto:support@blockhouse.capital) and we'll take a look.

## Connecting and terms

> **My wallet isn't listed**
>
> MetaMask, Rabby, Rainbow, Phantom, OKX Wallet and Bitget Wallet appear under **Installed** if this browser has them, or under **Get a wallet** with an install link if not. Any other browser wallet that announces itself to the page also appears under **Installed**. Coinbase Wallet and WalletConnect (scan with your phone) work without an extension.

> **“This wallet is a smart contract, which cannot accept the terms here.”**
>
> Smart-contract wallets, such as a Safe or Coinbase Smart Wallet, sign in a form the terms check can't verify. They can't deposit to Hyperliquid either: funds sent from one couldn't be traded or withdrawn. Use a wallet with its own key, such as MetaMask or Rabby.

> **The terms didn't appear when I connected**
>
> If you're signed in to Blockhouse and accepted the current terms when you signed up, they cover any wallet you use, so there's nothing to sign. Otherwise you're asked at your first deposit or when you choose **Enable trading**.

## Deposit

> **“Taking longer than usual. Still delivering, so don’t send again”**
>
> Relay has your deposit and is still delivering it to Hyperliquid. It's safe to wait or close the window. If it stays this way, [contact support](https://docs.blockhouse.app/reference/get-help.md) with the transaction link the panel shows.

> **“Couldn’t complete. Refunded to the sender”**
>
> The deposit couldn't be delivered, so it was returned to the address it was sent from. If you sent it from an exchange, the refund went to the exchange's own wallet rather than your account, so contact the exchange to recover it.

> **“Failed. Contact support with the transaction link”**
>
> The deposit didn't complete and wasn't refunded automatically. Don't send it again. [Contact support](https://docs.blockhouse.app/reference/get-help.md) with the transaction link the panel shows, and we'll follow it up.

> **I sent less than \$5, or the wrong token or network**
>
> Deposits under \$5 may not arrive, and a token or network other than the one you chose may be lost. [Contact support](https://docs.blockhouse.app/reference/get-help.md) with the transaction link, and we'll check what can be done.

> **My token or chain isn't listed**
>
> The lists only show what can be delivered right now. For anything else, the dialog links to **Deposit on Hyperliquid**, Hyperliquid's own deposit page.

> **“Use a standard wallet”**
>
> The connected wallet is a smart-contract wallet. Hyperliquid credits the sending address but can't accept its signatures, so funds sent from it couldn't be traded or withdrawn. Connect a wallet with its own key, such as MetaMask or Rabby.

> **“Not enough USDC on Arbitrum”**
>
> The wallet holds less USDC on Arbitrum than the amount; only native USDC counts, not the bridged USDC.e. Enter a smaller amount, or add USDC on Arbitrum to the wallet.

> **“Circle could not deliver this deposit”**
>
> Your USDC left Arbitrum, but Circle reports that delivering it to Hyperliquid failed. Don't send it again. Keep the transaction link the panel shows and [contact support](https://docs.blockhouse.app/reference/get-help.md): Circle can complete or return a failed delivery.

## Enabling trading

> **“Trading key expiring” or “Expires in N hours”**
>
> Trading keys last 7 days, and this shows in the last day. Choose your wallet address in the top bar, then **Wallet details**, then **Renew**. It takes one signature.

> **Enable trading is back on the order ticket**
>
> This browser no longer has a working trading key for the wallet. It expired after 7 days, **Disconnect** removed it, or **Stay connected on this device** was off and the tab closed. Choose **Enable trading** again.

## Orders

> **“Below Hyperliquid's \$10 minimum order value”**
>
> Increase the size. For **Scale** and **TWAP**, each order or slice must be at least \$10: use fewer orders, a shorter duration or more size.

> **“Order submitted. Check your orders to confirm the outcome.”**
>
> Hyperliquid reported the order as neither filled nor resting, which can happen with a market order that matched nothing or a trigger waiting off-book. It may still have gone through, so check **Open Orders** and **Fills** before placing it again.

> **“Hyperliquid did not respond in time …”**
>
> The order may have reached Hyperliquid even though no answer came back. Check **Positions** and **Open Orders** before trying again, so you don't place the order twice.

> **“… did not close: nothing filled at market. The book may be too thin.”**
>
> Nothing on the order book took the close at market. Try again, or close with a limit order and **Reduce only** ticked.

> **Close is greyed out on a position**
>
> This wallet doesn't have a trading key in this browser, so it can't sign the close. Choose **Enable trading** on the order ticket.
