# Place an order

> Place an order, close a position and withdraw your funds.

**1. Choose a market**

Open the market picker and choose a market. Its tabs, such as **Perps**, **Spot** and **HIP-3**, switch between market types.

**2. Choose side and type**

On the **Order Ticket**, choose **Buy / Long** or **Sell / Short**, then **Limit** or **Market**. **More** has **TWAP**, **Scale** and **Stop**.

**3. Enter price and size**

For a limit order, type a price or choose **MID** for the mid-price. Enter the size in the coin or in USD, or choose **25%**, **50%**, **75%** or **Max** to size the order from your available balance.

**4. Set leverage**

Drag the leverage slider. Higher leverage increases your exposure and brings the liquidation price closer.

**5. Place the order**

Check the order value, margin required and liquidation price, then choose **Buy / Long** or **Sell / Short** to place the order.

## Close a position

On **Positions**, choose **Close** on the position's row, then **Close position** to close it at market. **Close all** closes every perps position at market and cancels your open perps orders. To close part of a position, place an order with **Reduce only** ticked.

## Withdraw

On the order ticket, choose **Withdraw**, then enter an amount or choose **Max**. The funds go to the address under **Destination on Arbitrum**, which is your connected wallet unless you change it. A 1 USDC fee comes out of the amount, and the panel shows what you'll receive. Choose **Withdraw** with the amount, then sign in your wallet.
