# Bequant and Bybit

> Bequant opens the Bybit account and creates its two API keys; you whitelist them and enter them in Blockhouse.

**1. Request your Bybit account and keys**

In Blockhouse, on the **Bybit** tab of the Credentials step, copy the **Read-only API IPs** and the **Trading API IPs**.

Then ask your Bequant Support Rep to open an account on Bybit for this strategy, set to a Unified Trading Account in Cross Margin mode, with one-way mode, with two API keys: a reading key whitelisted to the **Read-only API IPs**, and a trading key whitelisted to the **Trading API IPs**. Send both lists with your request: Bequant's keys expire if they aren't whitelisted.

**2. Enter the keys in Blockhouse**

Once the keys are ready, open the **Accounts** page in Bequant PRO. Copy each key and its secret into the matching fields on the **Bybit** tab in Blockhouse, and tick **IPs are whitelisted for read-only API** and **IPs are whitelisted for trading API**.

**3. Finish in Blockhouse**

In Bequant PRO, open **Accounts** and copy the **Account name** of the account whose **Exchange** is Bybit. In Blockhouse, on the **Bybit** tab, enter it in **Bequant account ID for Bybit**.

Check that every key field on the tab is filled in and both IP boxes are ticked.
