# Change venues, fees or keys
> Add or deactivate an exchange, change fees or replace keys on a live account.
The desk reviews each change before it takes effect. Until then, the account keeps trading on its current venues.
**1. Choose Edit venues**
In **Manage accounts**, choose **⋮** → **Edit venues** on the account.
**2. Manage Venues**
Choose an exchange under **Add a venue**, or switch an existing one off to make it [inactive](https://docs.blockhouse.app/reference/glossary.md#inactive-venue). The account needs at least two active venues. Under **Exchange Fees**, enter each new venue's fees, or update an existing venue's fees if your tier has changed.
**3. Credentials**
Existing venues keep their stored keys. To replace a venue's keys, untick **Credentials have not changed** and enter the new ones. A new venue needs its own keys, set up as in [Step 4: Credentials](https://docs.blockhouse.app/open-an-account/connect-your-exchanges).
Replace keys here, not on the exchange: a key changed on the exchange while the strategy runs can disrupt its trading until the desk has the new one.
A switched-off venue's keys stay stored. To disconnect the venue completely, delete its unused keys on the exchange's or prime broker's own site.
**4. Account Configuration**
Confirm the settings for each new venue, as in [Step 5: Account Configuration](https://docs.blockhouse.app/open-an-account/account-configuration.md). Existing venues are marked **Nothing has changed** by default.
**5. Review Changes**
Tick **I confirm these venue changes for this account** and choose **Submit for Review**.
You'll get an email and a notification once the desk has decided.
