# Add another strategy account

> Once your first SMA is signed by both sides, a new account takes four steps.

Your details and [SMA](https://docs.blockhouse.app/reference/glossary.md#sma) carry over, so there's no Account Information step and no new agreement to sign.

## Start the setup

* **A strategy you don't run yet:** on its page, choose **Continue to account setup**.
* **Another configuration of a strategy you already run:** in its **Manage position** panel, open the account menu and choose **Set up another account**.

**1. Strategy Configuration**

Choose your venues, fees and allocation, then confirm, as in [Step 2](https://docs.blockhouse.app/open-an-account/strategy-configuration.md).

**2. Credentials**

Ask your prime broker for a new sub-account on each exchange, then create new keys on them, restricted to this account's IP addresses, as in [Step 4](https://docs.blockhouse.app/open-an-account/connect-your-exchanges). The new account can use a different prime broker from your other accounts.

**3. Account Configuration**

Confirm each exchange's settings, as in [Step 5](https://docs.blockhouse.app/open-an-account/account-configuration.md).

**4. Review**

Check your details, then choose **Complete Onboarding**. The desk takes the account live, as with your first.
